I am Not here to be Captain Always: Gyanendra Malla
Former captain of the national cricket team Gyanendra Malla has said that he will play cricket for his family and country.
Speaking to media persons on Tuesday while participating in a closed-door training at the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, he said, “I have not always wanted to be a captain and I don’t have to. I used to play and I still play.
I play for the country, I play for myself, I play for my family. That is the main objective, ”said Gyanendra.
Nine players, including former captain Gyanendra, attended closed-door training on Tuesday after an agreement was reached with the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) on a contentious issue.
