Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane has said that he will take action if he finds out that the leaders are going door to door asking for transfer and promotion. Lamichhane, who reached the police head office, Naxal, said that the transfer and promotion of police personnel cannot be done outside the criteria.
He visited the police headquarters for the first time after becoming the home minister and said, “The issue of going to the house of the leader regarding transfer and promotion will be stopped.” Better people than us will be given priority.
