Alleged ascetic Ram Bahadur Bamjan has been found guilty in the case of child sexual abuse by the Sarlahi District Court. District Judge Jeevan Kumar Bhandari’s bench convicted Bamjan, who is currently incarcerated in Sarlahi Jail, in the case.
Bamjan, who was sent to prison after being arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) on 24 January 2080, was found guilty in the case of child molestation. The court that found him guilty in the case will determine the punishment later. A separate hearing will be scheduled for that.
