Kathmandu Metropolitan Fines 1 Lakh to UML for Polluting Durbarmarg Area

Kathmandu Metropolitan City will pay a fine of one lakh rupees to CPN (UML). On Friday (Mangsir 7th), the metropolis has asked the UML to pay a fine for polluting the environment by haphazardly littering the road and road boxes while holding a vigil meeting on the open road of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-1 Darbarmarg.

City Police Inspector Leelaraj Gachha has sent a letter to the UML Central Office stating that “we have been fined Rs.1,00,000.

Kathmandu Metropolitan City Chief Balendra Shah (Balen) is elected as an independent. UML is a party led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
