Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he will resign from the post of Prime Minister after 14 months.
Responding to questions from journalists at the Parliament building on Friday, Prime Minister Oli said he would resign as Prime Minister after 14 months.
When the rumors of a change of government were circulating, media persons had asked about it. In response to the same question, Prime Minister Oli said that he would resign after 14 months and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba would become the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Oli said, “Now, after 14 women, I will resign. Sher Bahadur ji is the Prime Minister.”
CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had briefed the parliamentary party meeting that the coalition would be discussed after Congress President Deuba returned from Thailand. However, President Deuba, upon returning from his visit to Thailand on Friday, told media persons that the coalition government would continue for the full term.
