Nepal Police has opened recruitment for one lakh term police. The Naxals have issued a notice asking them to apply from March 22 to 23. Application forms are available at all District Police Offices. Anyone who has completed 18 years of age and has not reached 54 years of age will be able to apply for the post.
The criteria for joining the temporary police force are to be a Nepali citizen, not to have been charged with a crime, not to be a member of any political party, and to be physically and mentally fit. Preference will be given to former security personnel of Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force for temporary police recruitment.
