Dehradun. Acharya Prashant, founder of Prashant Advaita Foundation and former civil service officer interacted with the concerned students on mental health. And said there is a very deep connection between the mind and spirituality, spirituality can control the mind, it strengthens inner peace and provides a sense of connection with a greater power.

Acharya Prashant, founder of Prashant Advaita Foundation, inaugurated the workshop on mental health organized by the Alumni Association at IIT Dogra Hall on Sunday by lighting the lamp. He said that the entire environment of the mind changes rapidly, what we do not change and how to achieve peace even after changing everything. People change houses, change jobs and even after all these changes the mind does not get peace. He said that the mind needs something, without it it will not stop. Without it, he will keep running here and there, eventually running, thinking that if he gets that, then he will not need anything else. If you know that even after you find the person you’re running to, you still need more, do you run to them?
Acharya Prashant said that people are becoming lonely in their busy lives who do not know what we are, why we are living, what is our purpose, and this has created a state of mental stress. Yuvayuvati said, “First of all we have to know ourselves, for that only spirituality helps, spirituality can remove the stress that comes in our daily life. He said that research has proven that spirituality benefits both the mind and body. Spiritual practices help them reduce negative emotions, find meaning, and deepen relationships with others such as self-esteem, confidence, lack of self-control, and fear of daily tasks and challenges. It can also be a direct way to maintain strong mental health.
He said that people who do not follow any religion can benefit from spirituality as there is a popular opinion in the secular community. He said that not everyone has learned to use spiritual tools. Acharya Prashant said that the youth should be given the right guidance. We do not even know how to live the right life. One cannot choose, one must choose the right work, one must choose the right work through self-knowledge.

The temperature of the earth is increasing, it is a matter of concern, but we are so engrossed in entertainment that we do not understand, there is not much time left, only two years, if we do not wake up. It will still be too late and then great destruction is certain. But we don’t worry about ourselves, do you know what is involved in the belief that ‘we are right, we don’t have to worry about ourselves’? If we want to worry about ourselves, we must first admit that we are in danger, and that we are wrong, so we We don’t want to worry about ourselves.

He said, ‘The way humanity is living and the way we have built a life structure based entirely on ego, it will kill us from the outside. And if by chance we are not killed from without, our doom is certain from within, the proportion of psychopaths in this world has never been as great as it is today. Today’s average stress levels were not as high during World War II, nor among soldiers as they are among civilians today. See the research paper. When will there be cases of depression like today? What to do now.

In the event, Pankaj Kapadia, Secretary of the Alumni Association honored Acharya Prashant with a memento. After the session, Acharya Prashant gifted the students of New Delhi with a holistic personal development program designed by him so that they can develop their inner selves spiritually.
