Amber Heard’s Plan for the End of Trial

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Amber Heard was found to have defamed Johnny Depp in their recent lawsuit, yet the actor is looking to counter-sue her former partner by hiring a new team of lawyers. Throughout the trial Heard was represented by Elaine Bredehoft, but her performance was deemed unsatisfactory by the actor.

With Heard ordered to pay 10.3 million dollars to Depp as a result of defaming him in her editorial with The Sun in the United Kingdom, there have been suggestions that she is facing financial difficulties. Alas, those difficulties don’t appear to have prevented her from recruiting a new legal team with David L. Axelrod and Jay Ward Brown both being brought into her corner to launch a countersuit against Depp.

Heard wants to appeal the initial verdict and will use this different legal strategy to do just that.
