The garbage of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, which has been accumulating for a week, has started to be collected from today. The metropolis issued a notification on Tuesday and said that the garbage collection will start from Thursday. Chief Administrative Officer Loknath Paudyal said that the road leading to the waste management site will be repaired and that the waste will be collected from Thursday morning.
The waste management work was stopped from last Thursday to repair the road leading from Sisdol in Nuwakot to the long-term waste management site Bancharedanda, where waste is being managed.
