Nepal Telecommunication Authority has implemented the Mobile Device Management System (MDMS) system. The authority has implemented the system by blocking the telecommunication service (network lock) on some high value mobiles that are not registered in the MDMS system. The telecommunication service has been blocked since 9 pm on Monday in about 800 to 1000 ‘highend’ mobiles which are not registered in the MDMS system.
