Nepal Electricity Authority has exported electricity worth 12.5 billion rupees to India in the first four months of the current fiscal year 2080-81. The Authority has exported 1.36 billion 1.2 million units of electricity in July, August, October and October of the current year and has earned 12.55 billion eight lakh rupees.
