Rajendra Baniya of Nepali Congress has been elected as the ward president of ward number 4 of Kirtipur municipality in Kathmandu.
According to the latest results of the vote count completed this morning, Baniyan won by getting 742 votes.
Baniya’s closest rival, independent candidate Pavita Khadka (officer) got 495 votes. Similarly, Maoist’s Narayan Bista got 287 votes while UML’s Badri Budhathoki got 154 votes.
