The special court has found corruption in the purchase of two wide-body aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation.
The court found the then executive chairman of the corporation, Sugatratna Kansakar, Shankar Prasad Adhikari, Shishir Kumar Dhungana, and Buddhisagar Lamichhane guilty.
A bench of Special Court President Justice Tek Narayan Kunwar and member judges Tej Narayan Singh Rai and Ritendra Thapa found him guilty in the Widebody corruption case on Thursday.
The court has ruled that corruption of Rs 1.47 billion was committed in the purchase of two wide-body aircraft of the corporation. The verdict states that the amount should be recovered from the defaulter.
