Kathmandu: Hello Health has been established following a ministerial decision by Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Poudel to establish a unit to address citizens’ complaints related to healthcare services.
Minister Poudel had decided to form the unit on November 29 under the coordination of the ministry’s Chief Consultant Tropical Medicine Dr. Anup Bastola. The same unit has started its service after making necessary preparations for the Hello Health Unit.
The committee formed by the ministry includes Information Officer Dr. Bhakta Bahadur KC, Information Technology Director Ramesh Raj Subedi, and Branch Officer Gauri Prasad Acharya.
“We have established a complaints unit with the aim of increasing citizens’ access to simple and convenient health services,” Minister Poudel said. “Please send us your problems and complaints.”
Telephone number 1115
The Ministry of Health and Population has launched the Hello Health service to address complaints related to healthcare services.
Citizens will now be able to send complaints related to the Ministry of Health and its subordinate bodies and health services via telephone, WhatsApp, Viber, email, and even post.
The ministry has stated that people can call the telephone number 1115 to lodge their complaints.
Similarly, the ministry has made arrangements to send complaints via message to 9851330592 on Viber and WhatsApp.
Similarly, complaints can be sent via email to ‘Hello Health at MOHP.gov.in’.
