Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has instructed Nepal Telecom to immediately test the 5-G service. Minister Karki said that the Nepal Telecommunication Authority has already given approval for the service test and directed Nepal Telecom to provide the service to the public immediately.
Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Saturday on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the telco, he urged the telecom not to delay the construction of information highway by laying optical fiber on Forge project and mid-hill highway.
