Kathmandu, Sept 28: AMS Music and Entertainment, in collaboration with the Global Academy for Human Excellence, announced that the Manila International Economic and Cultural Program will be held on November 9 in Manila, Philippines.
At a press conference held in Kathmandu, AMS Music and Entertainment Chairperson Satyakala Tamang Lama informed that the program aims to strengthen cultural and economic ties between Nepal and the Philippines.
“This event is being organized to promote Nepal’s tourism and cultural exchange. On that occasion, artists from both Nepal and the Philippines will present their original performances,” said Chairperson Lama, adding that various awards and honors will also be presented. She emphasized that the program is not limited to entertainment alone but also seeks to provide talented artists with an international platform.
Company Managing Director Phurwa Gyalbo Moktan (Thupten) stated that individuals and institutions contributing in fields such as world peace and development, humanitarianism, public service, business, and international diplomacy will be recognized during the program. “This event will serve as a cultural festival to deepen relations between the two countries, while also providing Nepalese artists the opportunity to showcase their art on an international stage,” he said.
Devraj Gurung, President of National Dynamic Artists (NDA), expressed his belief that the event would contribute to cultural exchange between the two countries. “The program will not only strengthen bilateral relations but also provide Nepalese art and culture with a platform for international exposure,” he remarked.
From the Philippines, Jovelyn Ssapalabra and Kenneth Gai Salvatus of the Global Academy for Human Excellence joined the press conference virtually. They expressed their happiness at collaborating with the Nepali company and said they were ready to welcome Nepalese artists and personalities to the Philippines.
AMS Music and Entertainment has previously organized tourism promotion, art, and cultural exchange programs in China, Japan, the UAE, and other countries.
