Balen Shah Leading in Kathmandu with 1000+ Vote Difference

Balen Sah, the candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has got 2601 votes.

In the counting of votes taking place in the National Assembly House on Sunday, he got about 1,200 votes more than the second-ranked CPN-UML candidate Keshav Sthapit.

Sthapit got 1415 votes and Nepali Congress candidate Sirjana Singh got 1359 votes. At present, counting of votes in wards 1, 2, 3, 4 and 32 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City is underway.
