Chitwan Rhinos Makes Winning start in NPL by Defeating Kathmandu Gurkhas

Chitwan Rhinos have made a winning start in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) by defeating Kathmandu Gurkhas.

Chitwan has completed the normal target of 112 runs given by Kathmandu in 17.1 overs with the loss of 5 wickets. In the first match on Monday, Chitwan got off to a good start in the NPL by defeating Kathmandu by 5 wickets.

Before that, Kathmandu, who batted after Chitwan won the toss and chose to field at the Trivi Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, made a total of 111 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

Sohail Tanvir took five wickets to stop Kathmandu Gurkhaz. Tanveer became the first player to take five wickets in a single NPL match. He conceded only 21 runs in his spell.
