Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak said that the government will take action in accordance with the prevailing law regarding the Tinkune incident and that the government itself will investigate.

Responding to questions raised by lawmakers at a meeting of the Law Committee, he said that a fair investigation into the Tinkune incident would be conducted and action would be taken against each and every culprit.

He said, ‘The issue of a judicial investigation has been raised. The formation of this or the formation of another separate investigation committee is to investigate in a situation where it is not known who the organizer is, in a situation where it is not known what happened there, in a situation where it is not known who committed what insolence. When the process of the country’s criminal law has already been followed, the investigation has already been carried out. The organizer is known, we know who made the speech, we know what insolence was committed by who. This is a criminal activity, right!’
