CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli reached the President’s residence on Friday and submitted his claim for the new Prime Minister.
UML President Oli, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Congress Chief Whip Ramesh Akhtar, UML Vice President Vishnu Paudel, UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bertaula, former Attorney General Ramesh Baral and others reached Sheetal Niwas to submit the claim.
Oli went to Sheetal Niwas and submitted his claim as soon as President Ramchandra Paudel called upon him to submit his claim for the post of Prime Minister in accordance with Article 76, Clause (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.
