The Standing Committee meeting of CPN Maoist Center has started from Friday. Spokesperson and Vice President Agni Sapkota said that in the meeting held at the party’s central office, Parisdad, discussions were started on four different agendas.
In the meeting, Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda gave a briefing on the latest political developments. Sapkota said that he kept his points for discussing the party’s ideological, political, organizational situation and workload and various agendas.
In the briefing about the latest political developments as the first agenda, President Prachanda said that the parties have reached an agreement on the TRC Bill.
Dahal informed that the TRC will be submitted in the upcoming Parliament meeting on 29th of July. Sapkota informed that Prachanda emphasized on the need to learn from the recent political turmoil in Bangladesh and listen to the people.
Similarly, Prachanda informed that instead of advancing the good governance and anti-corruption decisions and campaign made by the previous government under his leadership, the current government is creating obstacles.
