300 armed police deployed to search for missing buses and passengers in Trishuli

Three hundred and one armed policemen have been deployed to search for the passengers of two buses who went missing in Trishuli river after a landslide last Friday in Simaltal on Narayangadh-Muglin road under Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 of Chitwan.

 

Shailendra Thapa, co-spokesperson of the Armed Police Force of Nepal informed that the number of manpower was deployed in the area of about 132 km from Simaltal to Gandak Barrage, the site of the incident.

 

A security force of 86 people including 11 divers, two motor boats and seven yachts have been mobilized around the accident site from the Armed Police Disaster Management Training School, Kunirtar .
