40 MW Electricity will be Exported to Bangladesh Today

40 MW electricity will be exported to Bangladesh on Friday after India gave its approval at the last minute.

 

After the agreement of October 17th, India has approved two projects sent by Nepal Electricity Authority for sale of electricity to Bangladesh.

 

Along with this, electricity will be exported to Bangladesh for one day on November 30th (tomorrow). There is an agreement that Nepal can sell 40 megawatts of electricity to Bangladesh from June 15 to November 15.

 

Chandan Kumar Ghosh, the spokesperson of the Authority, informed that after getting the approval at the last minute, the electricity is going to be sent from 12:45 pm on Friday.
