Police have arrested six people from a single center in Kathmandu. Six people who were appearing for exams under different names were arrested from the Ratna Rajya Secondary School Center in Madhya Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
Six fake candidates who participated in the police constable exam have been arrested.
Police have arrested another fake examinee from Pokhara. Seven people who were assigned to conduct the police constable’s written examination under a different name have been taken into custody.
According to District Police Range Kathmandu spokesperson and SP Appelraj Bohora, the accused are Mohan Sunuwar, 23, of Jiri Municipality-9, Dolakha, and Balaju, from Ratna Rajya; Gopal Shahi, 24, of Lainchaur, Shubhakalika Rural Municipality-7, Kalikot; and Manoj Sharma, 22, of Birendranagar Municipality-5, Surkhet, and currently residing in Machhapokhari.
Similarly, from Ratna Rajya are Akash Khadka, 22, of Bhairavi Rural Municipality-5, Dailekh, and Naya Baneshwor, Umesh Sharma, 20, of Machhapokhari, Birendranagar Municipality-11, Surkhet, and Min Rawal, 22, of Balaju, Tila Rural Municipality-2, Jumla.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, a woman was arrested for appearing in an examination conducted at the Public Service Commission Examination Building in Pardi, Pokhara Metropolitan City-7, under the name of someone else.
