Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, chairman of the main opposition CPN-Maoist Center, said that despite the weather forecast, the state apparatus could not take immediate steps to rescue.
He said that the Center should investigate the reasons for not being able to rescue immediately even in the federal capital and that such a situation should not be allowed to happen in the future.
After understanding the report prepared by the Natural Disaster and Disaster Management Department of the Maoist Center with a team of experts after the on-site study of the disaster-affected areas, he said that the government should proceed in a planned manner.
President Prachanda said that the government failed to rescue citizens after the floods that occurred last Friday and Saturday.
Dahal commented that the government failed in rescue and is now unable to do the expected work in relief and rehabilitation.
Dahal also said that the government should pay attention to how to operate all the government mechanisms effectively.
