A youth was shot dead by the police in Sarlahi’s Barhathwa-6 when the politics involved in the dispute over the operation of the hospital took a violent turn. On Friday, 30-year-old Jaishankar Sah of Ward No. 6 of Barhathwa Municipality died due to firing by the police.
After the incident, the local administration has imposed curfew in Barhathwa Nagar Kshatra till 8 am tomorrow Saturday. But the tension has not subsided. The locals have been demonstrating by keeping the bodies of the deceased.
