In the first month of the current fiscal year, Shrawan, about 60,000 Nepalese have gone abroad in search of employment.
According to the Department of Foreign Employment, 59 thousand 550 Nepali people have gone for foreign employment with labor permits in the current year 2081/82. This is slightly more than the previous financial year. In July of the previous fiscal year, 55,575 workers went abroad.
According to the data of the department, 51 thousand 430 men and 8 thousand 114 women went for foreign employment in July. This is the number of both new and re-permit workers.
