An arrest warrant has been issued against Binukumari Shahi, the then chief of Lalitpur’s Bhainsepati Police Division in the honey trap case. According to Lalitpur police chief Shekhar Khanal, an arrest warrant has been issued against Shahi.
Police are preparing to arrest Shahi after the arrest warrant is issued. 4 people including an assistant constable have been arrested in the case. In the case of honey trap, Inspector Shahi was accused of making a deal with the victim for 30 lakh rupees, saying that he would trap the victim by committing the crime of rape.
The incident came to light after the victim told the police. The police have already arrested three people including the girl involved in the honey trap incident.
