Minister Paudel had also mentioned expanding cancer treatment services in his plans and priorities announced on July 27th.

Informing that the first announcement made by him has been fully implemented, Minister Paudel said that in the next phase, the services of human organ transplantation and heart treatment can also be expanded.

Minister Paudel said, ‘Along with cancer, we have taken a policy to expand human organ transplant and heart treatment services. Minister Paudel’s secretariat said that since the services of the federal cancer hospital will be obtained from the extended hospital, both expenses and time will be saved. Now they will get more help in the service and quality of the hospital with expanded services.

The secretariat has said that this will be effective as services will be provided through the expanded hospital by sending satellite clinics and their skilled manpower. Before this, only three hospitals under the association have been providing cancer treatment services.
