A 7-member committee has been formed to investigate the incident that took place at Pashupatinath Kotihome site on Friday evening.
After the discussion held on Saturday afternoon, a 7-member committee has been formed under the coordination of Assistant Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Madhav Prasad Dhungana. The committee has been given 15 days to conduct an on-site study and investigation and submit a report with facts about the incident that happened on Friday night at the Kotihome project site.
DSP Ganga Paudel of District Police Complex Kathmandu, DSP Pramod Rai of Armed Police Force, Advocate Sachitanand Kafle, Secretary of Nepal Journalists Mahangha Gobind Chaulagain, Bishnu Kumar Thapa of Human Services Foundation are members of the committee. Anupam Poudel of District Administration Office Kathmandu is the member secretary.
On Friday night, after the police reached the Kotihome site in Pashupati, the supporters of narrator Vijay Krishnamurthy protested. Krishnamurtil had called on his supporters to retaliate saying that they had come to arrest him.
