The Nepali Congress has instructed the party’s MPs not to leave Kathmandu until Asoj 3. Chief Whip Shyam Ghimire sent a notice to the MPs today asking them to stay in Kathmandu.
In the ruling coalition meeting held on Monday, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli proposed the removal of Deputy Speaker Indira Rana saying that her conduct was not correct. According to that, now the Congress-UML is preparing.
If the deputy speaker does not resign, the coalition is preparing to move the motion to remove him. UML has already asked the MPs not to leave Kathmandu. Congress and UML are demanding the resignation of the Deputy Speaker.
