Maoist Center Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the country will not return to the old system.
At a program organized by Gyan Prakash Model Secondary School in Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 of Myagdi today, he said that the country will not back down from the federal democratic republican system of governance established through a long political struggle and the strength of the people. ‘We must move forward by correcting the shortcomings of this system,’ Prachanda said, ‘The political leadership should work in a way that does not disappoint the people.’
He also said that he has started reaching out to the people to understand their problems. He said that he will make every effort to complete the Kaligandaki Corridor as soon as possible.
