Court Allows to Keep 24 People in Custody for More 3 Days Involved in Tinkune Incident

The Kathmandu District Court has granted permission to remand 24 accused in the Tinkune incident for an additional three days.

A bench of Justice Dhruv Raj Karki has granted permission to keep 24 people, including Durga Prasai and Rabindra Mishra, in custody for the purpose of investigating crimes against the state, informed District Police Complex spokesperson Apil Raj Bohara.

On March 15, a group led by Prasai and Mishra caused havoc in Tinkune, Kathmandu, resulting in the deaths of two people and the vandalism and burning of many houses, establishments, vehicles and other property.
