A bench of Justice Shishir Raj Dhakal has granted permission to keep him in custody for 12 days for investigation. The police have also obtained permission to keep his bodyguard Deepak Khadka, who was arrested along with Prasain, in custody for 12 days for investigation.
The police had demanded that both be kept in custody for at least 12 days for investigation. Accordingly, the court has extended the time limit.
