CPN – Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist) Leader Chaudhary’s demand that the Supreme Court’s decision be corrected
Chief Whip Metmani Chaudhary, who is also the deputy general secretary of CPN United Socialist Party, has said that the decision of the Supreme Court should be reviewed and corrected by leaving 20 meters left and right in the rivers of Kathmandu Valley.
Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Monday, MP Choudhary said that the decision of the Supreme Court had spread terror among the locals living in the area concerned and emphasized that this decision should be reviewed.
Speaking at zero time in the Parliament, Chowdhury said, ‘One lakh households, five lakh people will be directly affected by this decision, as well as religious heritage and housing apartments and commercial centers built with the government’s permission will be destroyed.’ He added, ‘All of them are displaced, they become squatters, so I request the honorable court to revise and correct the impractical and unenforceable decision.’
