Nepali Congress General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa has asked former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda to refrain from politics of incitement.
Speaking at a special time in the House of Representatives on Thursday, he objected to the former Prime Minister saying that Nepal can be like Bangladesh or Sri Lanka.
He drew the attention of Prachanda to the fact that people who have made the country laugh should not do politics of excitement. Prachanda, who addressed the House of Representatives on Tuesday, expressed the possibility of a rebellion in Nepal as in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Congress General Minister Thapa commented on the same.
Thapa said that it would be easy to do politics of excitement, but asked Prachanda to keep in mind that once a fire is lit, it can burn itself. ‘It is easy to ignite, it is difficult to put it out, the politics of excitement is much easier, the politics of consciousness is difficult’, he said, ‘Impulse is easy to control, it is difficult to handle it wisely.’
General Minister Thapa said that other leaders have also learned that the politics of excitement sells and it cannot be handled if it increases. General Minister Thapa said that the leader of the opposition party is also a part of this system and he should not forget his responsibility.
