On the occasion of Global Money Week, a group of artists performing short plays related to digital literacy in various places in Nepal on behalf of Fonepay under the Fonepay Digi Smart Nepal Campaign has left for Birgunj.
After demonstrations in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Chitwan, and Hetauda, the group headed towards Birgunj.
After Birgunj, the play will be performed in Itahari, Biratnagar, Lahan, and Janakpur, and will be performed in a total of 28 schools, informed the writer and coordinator of the play, Lokraj Adhikari. Along with Adhikari, the play features actor Shreedeb Bhattarai, senior theater artist JB DC, and playwright Sharad Neupane.
Actor Shreedev Bhattarai is getting much appreciation through his drama work. Audiences are loving and praising his play.
The play, which contains a message of imparting financial and digital knowledge to the young generation, has been directed by DC. Writer Adhikari has been active in writing songs and literature, as well as writing plays and acting for more than two decades. DC and Bhattarai are popular artists who have been acting in films and music videos for a long time.
The audience has liked the themes raised by the play and the performances of the actors. Some schools have even given “tokens of love” to the play, saying that it has spread awareness through relevant and useful messages.
