Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that teachers should continue their agitation as the government is keen to bring in the School Education Act soon.
Addressing an awareness rally organized by the CPN (UML) Rupandehi District Committee in Butwal today, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that there is no need to remain in agitation as the current government is a government that listens to the problems and voices of all sectors and communities.
“There are problems, but there was no need to keep going on the streets. I want to tell teachers that the Education Act will come soon. You should consider not only your own problems but also the interests of the nation and the economic situation,” said Prime Minister Oli.
In another context, Prime Minister Oli clarified that there is no truth in the propaganda that he had a confrontation with the Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University, stating that he had confirmed and accepted the resignation sent by the Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University through other means
