Greater Noida – Eminent philosopher, writer and founder of Prashant Advaita Foundation Acharya Prashant paid a courtesy call on Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel at Raj Bhavan, Bhopal on Monday. On this occasion, there was a deep discussion on the important topics of Indian philosophy, especially Vedanta and the contemporary importance of Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
During this special dialogue, Acharya Prashant explained that how to convey eternal knowledge to today’s youth is the need of the hour. He mentioned the efforts being made by the Prashant Advaita Foundation in this direction, the main ones being – presentation of ideas based on Vedanta in cinema halls, technical institutes and educational campuses. He recently mentioned the presentations held at PVR and Inox Multiplex in Bhopal and National Institute of Technology (NIT), Bhopal, where the youth listened and appreciated his ideas deeply.
Governor Mangubhai Patel while appreciating the efforts of Acharya Prashant said that this initiative of presenting ancient texts like Vedanta and Gita in modern language and contexts is commendable. He said that with such efforts, the age-old traditions of India can be revived among the new generation, thereby imparting spiritual awareness and moral values in the society.
Prashant Advaita Foundation has been active in bringing Indian philosophy to the masses for the past years. Acharya Prashant’s ideas are inspiring conceptual clarity, conscience and self-awareness especially among the youth. He believes that spirituality should not be limited to worship and should be seen as a solution to the basic problems of life.
This meeting became a symbol of the confluence of Indian spirituality and modern thought, where a new way of dialogue between the tradition of knowledge and the present generation was seen to open.
