Kathmandu — A music video based on a true story, dedicated to the memory of a father, has been officially released on the Krishna Bhattarai Official YouTube channel. The song is written by lyricist Mahesh Acharya, with music composition and vocals by Krishna Bhattarai.

The song, arranged by Bishwa Adhikari, was recorded at Opal Studio, and directed and edited by renowned comedian Gopal Dhakal (Chhande). Dhakal is recognized as the first person in Nepal to formally initiate the concept of music video inauguration (shubha muhurat).

The video features color correction by Achyut Bajgai and was filmed around Duwakot, Bhaktapur district, with cinematography by Marubhumi Narayan.

Actors featured in the music video include Krishna Bhattarai, Mahesh Acharya, Deepak Rai, and Harimaya Bhattarai. The song expresses the deep emotional pain of losing a father — portraying how a child, overwhelmed by the void and grief, conveys their heartfelt emotions. It reflects the family’s situation and the emptiness felt in the absence of a father.

The core message of the song emphasizes that parents are our creators — they are living gods.
It reminds us that we should not wait until after they’re gone to remember and feel emotional. Instead, loving and respecting them while they are still alive is the greatest virtue.
To remember a father means to feel his blessings behind every success in life.
