Air Flight services have been suspended at Gulmi’s Resunga Airport for a month. Air services in the district have been suspended for a month after two Twin Otter aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation were grounded.
Suman Thapa, head of the Resunga Station of the Nepal Airlines Corporation, said that passengers here have been facing problems after the suspension of air services.
Air services in the district came into operation after the Corporation started commercial flights in Gulmi on 29th Baisakh 2080 BS. The Corporation had been operating flights up to three times a week since the Corporation started commercial flights in the district.
It will take some time for service to return to normal in the district as two Twin Otter ships have been grounded and repairs are underway on the grounded flights.
