The government has appealed to the general public not to participate in any demonstrations organized by royalist groups.
Announcing the decisions of the Council of Ministers meeting on Tuesday, Minister for Communications and Information Technology and government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung appealed not to participate in the chaotic protests of the royalist group.
“The Government of Nepal sincerely appeals to the general public not to engage in such anarchic activities,” he said, informing about the incident that took place in Tinkune last Friday. Similarly, he informed that the government has decided to provide treatment to those injured during the protest.
Minister Gurung informed that the decision has been made to give the responsibility to the Ministry of Health and Population to arrange for the treatment of those injured in the incident.
