Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government is making efforts to improve the education and health sectors.
Addressing the first convocation ceremony of the Pokhara Institute of Health Sciences, Chancellor Oli clarified that he is working keeping in mind the destination of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis’, a modern form of the sage’s saying ‘Surve Bhavantu Sukhin’, as changes and progress are being achieved in many sectors in the country.
He said that the establishment of the institute and the production of human resources in Pokhara are examples of how the system has changed, but the situation has not, and the kidney transplants of 14 patients in Pokhara are a special achievement.
Prime Minister Oli reminded that this part of the world is a land of knowledge and discovery, and has a glorious history of Vedic science and ancient medicine before the advent of modern medicine. “There is no reason why we cannot rise. We will move forward in development by making good use of information technology and artificial intelligence.”
