Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has publicly called for suggestions for improving the health system. He asked for suggestions by taking suggestions from all stakeholders in the health sector and making a plan together.
He urged them to give creative suggestions focusing on the question of what are the major problems within the overall health system, what are the priority issues within the list of those problems and how to solve them.
He wrote on social media, ‘There are many problems and challenges in the health sector. There is a need for policy and systemic reform to find a solution to those problems one by one and to improve the current situation and to adopt new technologies and treatment methods that are being developed. For this, immediate, short-term and long-term plans should be formulated to develop the overall health system in an integrated manner. To build those plans, we all need to try from our respective places. For this, we will take suggestions and advice from all the stakeholders in the health sector and proceed with a collective plan.’
