Health and Population Minister Pradeep Poudel has said that there will be a thorough investigation into the Solar Airlines plane crash. This commitment was given by Minister Paudel, who arrived this morning to understand the condition of pilot Manisharatna Shakya, who died in an accident at the Tertiary Teaching Hospital Maharajganj and the injured pilot.
He said that the work of identifying the dead from fingerprints, teeth and various signs of the body is going on and 4 bodies have already been identified on Wednesday. He said that although the body has been identified, matching is yet to be done.
He said that everyone will be identified by Thursday evening and work is being done to hand them over to their relatives by Friday evening. He said that it may take some time for the unidentified bodies to be DNA tested.
He said that Nepal’s airspace is not safe and a large number of people are suffering damage every year.
He also said that the government will find out the weaknesses and negligence and take action, improve and regulate. He said that by prohibiting the use of old and damaged aircraft and the flying of aircraft that do not meet the standards, a friendly environment should be created for aircraft flight inside the airport.
