Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel has said that all the money from the health tax fund should be allocated for the health insurance program.
Health Minister Paudel said that the arrangement is also for them to ensure resources up to 5 lakhs for health insurance. Dr. Veer Hospital on Friday. Speaking at the inauguration of the KD Joshi Burn Treatment Center, Health Minister Paudel requested that 2 percent of government employees’ salaries should be allocated for the health insurance program.
Mentioning that the government is looking for Aadhaar to ensure the source of health insurance, Minister Paudel said that as soon as it is arranged, they will arrange to get 5 lakhs for health insurance. On that occasion, he also assured that the government will provide all possible support to make the health services of Veer Hospital effective.
Health Minister Paudel also directed the subordinate agencies to conduct public awareness programs to make health insurance effective. On the occasion of the program, the vice chancellor of the hospital, Prof. Dr. Bhupendra Basnet, expressed his commitment to advance the work of the hospital so that the common citizens can get services in an efficient manner.
