The District Court in Kaski has ordered the release of the accused in the Surya Darshan Cooperative fraud case on bail and has sought a report from them.

The Pokhara High Court has issued an order seeking a report from the Kaski District Court on the bail granted to seven people, including Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane, accused in the Surya Darshan Cooperative fraud case.

The District Attorney’s Office filed a petition on Monday, seeking to quash the order of the Kaski District Court on December 10 to release the accused, including Ravi, on bail and to keep them in custody pending trial.

Hearing the same petition, the bench of Pokhara High Court Judge Rajkumar Khatiwada sought the reason for releasing the accused in the Surya Darshan Cooperative fraud case, said Nil Prasad Paneru, Deputy Registrar of the High Court.
