Hitendra Dev Shakya has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority. The Cabinet meeting held on Monday appointed Shakya as the Executive Director of the Authority.
A minister informed that Shakya was appointed as the executive director on the recommendation of the Ministry of Energy. A meeting held today had decided to dismiss the current executive director Kulman Ghising from the post.
The government led by KP Sharma Oli had been trying to remove Ghising from office from the very beginning. For this, clarifications were repeatedly sought.
