Durga Prasai, who fled after the protest held in Tinkune, Kathmandu, has released another video statement, saying that she did not flee but was ‘saved’ to be safe.

Posting a video message over 8 minutes long on social media, he claimed that he was safe but remained in Nepal because Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda were conspiring against him.

He has given a message that he is ready to go public in the presence of human rights activists and legal practitioners.

He has said, ‘I was not born to run away, I am somewhere in Nepal.’ Prasai has announced that he will give Rs 500,000 each to the families of Suresh Rajak and Sabin Maharjan, who died in the protest in Tinkune on Chaitra 15.
