Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the chairman of the main opposition CPN-Maoist Center, has claimed that he has not personally beaten anyone yet, even though some have accused him of killing 17,000 people.

“Some people, those who want to push back history, are the murderers of 17,000. It’s not because they are called murderers of 17,000, it’s because it happened in war according to the rules of war,” he said at the launch ceremony of a book written by Khimlal Devkota on transitional justice on Saturday.

‘How many did the state kill? How many did the rebels do?’ It can be studied. But is this allegation true? 17,000 Maoists.

“Moreover, Prachanda said yes. I haven’t even beaten a single person yet. Forget about murder, if you want to talk about the person.”

Prachanda said that he took responsibility for leading the war after entering peaceful politics
